Sean Daenzer has served as organist and choirmaster of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan since the Fall of 2004. He recently received the Bachelor of Music Degree in Organ Performance from Hope College, where he studied with Huw Lewis. Sean toured France, Belgium, and the Netherlands with the Hope College Chapel Choir as both singer and organist. He has appeared in recitals throughout the Holland/Grand Rapids area. During the summer of 2006, he helped lead three Lutheran Service Book workshops in Michigan at the request of the LC-MS Commission on Worship, and also served as Kantor for a Higher Things youth retreat in Marshall, Michigan. Sean is also active in the American Guild of Organists. It is his intention to study at Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana in the fall of 2007 in preparation for entering the Office of Holy Ministry
